The Karmeliet Grand Cru Brut story unfolds

At Bosteels, tradition is cherished, but it has never stopped the restless search for perfection. That belief inspired a continuous search for new ways to push the boundaries of craftsmanship.

At the end of the 20th century, Bosteels set out to bring the méthode traditionnelle into brewing: the same meticulous process used to craft the finest brut-style beer. Brewing according to Belgian tradition, then applying the mastery and stages that brut makers have refined over centuries. That expertise never stopped evolving.

Over the years, Bosteels built a rare command of what it takes to shape a beer with the elegance, precision and finish of a brut, expertise most breweries simply don't have.

Karmeliet Grand Cru Brut is the ultimate expression of that relentless pursuit of perfection.

Yanick Dehandschutter, sommelier at two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Sir Kwinten and former Gault&Millau Sommelier of the Year, collaborated on the gastronomic exploration of Karmeliet Grand Cru Brut.

“As soon as Karmeliet Grand Cru Brut is served, you immediately notice just how complex the beer is.”

For Yanick, its strength lies in its balance: intense, yet remarkably fresh and refined. This complexity makes Karmeliet Grand Cru Brut particularly well suited to fine dining and sophisticated food pairings.
